Thinking is only possible on paper

People can't think in their heads and then write their final thoughts. The writing itself is a process of thinking.
Our brain isn't very reliable and there are many biases, we think we remember the things which never happened. When taking notes we can evaluate the previous notes and see how our thinking process goes.
